How to Transition Your Natural Hair From Winter to Spring

on

While Winter's cold weather can wreak havoc on your hair if you're not careful, Spring is the perfect time to let your 'fro fly and try out different styles and products!

In the Winter, the air is dry and leaves your locks crying out for moisture. But in the Spring, the humidity in the air means less heavy moisturizing products. It also means you can bust out your box of dye and try out different colors without too much fear of your hair drying out and breaking off. Don't get me wrong though, that doesn't mean stop moisturizing! In my opinion it's just safer to color hair in the Spring.

Humidity also means more frizz, so sleeker styles like slick high buns are harder to maintain. If you're a no-fuss person like me, keep the sleek styles to a minimum and use Spring as an excuse to rock giant kinks and curls.
